Waalwege

Starting from Saltaus in the valley of Passeier, the path goes over forest hillsides up the valley and ends in Obermais.

Wather channel pathways (Waalwege): their special highlights are the mellow rippling of the water and the varied ways through orchards, vineyards, green meadows and parts of forests with ever changing views of the Alps.

The Maiser water channel pathway (9 km): it runs through broad-leafed trees and coniferous trees. Walking time: approx. 2 -3 hours.
